Homecoming Dresses $100 and under/NEW KITTEN!

Hey beautiful!

Blogtober, Day 3! I don’t know about you guys, but my homecoming dances are some of my favorite memories from high school. It was always a blast to pick out the most beautiful dress I could find (within a decent price range), get my makeup perfect, all the good stuff. This year I don’t exactly have a homecoming to go to, but that didn’t stop me from scoping out the prettiest homecoming dresses I could find. The best part? They’re all under $100 and they’re also all from department stores that I know are all over the country. Here are my favorites that I found.

Best Beading: http://www.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=1c41765&deptid=71275&dep=JUNIORS&catid=81020&pcat=JUNIORS&cat=Dresses&NOffset=0&CatSel=4294930920|homecoming+dresses&pcatid=71275&Ne=4294957900+29+3+1031+8+18+949&N=4294930920&SO=1&cattyp=RLE&Nao=0&PSO=1&bcCat=3&CmCatId=71275|81020
This grey dress has the most beautiful details I’ve ever seen. I would dress this up with silver jewelry and a colorful pair of heels… maybe emerald! The back of this dress is SO pretty. Currently it’s marked down to $49.99 from the original price tag of $100.

Best Long Dress:

I love the one-shoulder strap and the gorgeous detail on it! I personally never wore a long dress to homecoming, but I think this is so classy and elegant. I would wear my hair up in a bun with this and throw on a pearl necklace. With a price tag of $53.99, how can you go wrong?

I adore how bright and fun this is! The tulle underlay makes it so flirty and flouncy. With this dress, I think a messy updo or even a curly ponytail would be really cute, along with black jewelry. Absolutely gorgeous! It’s marked down to $54.99 right now.

There’s something so cool about the girl who can rock the LBD and look completely fabulous. I would wear this with my hair down and curly and with gold jewelry. I would also throw on a pair of turquoise heels… love the color-pop shoe trend right now! This is also the most expensive, priced right at $99, but I love it.

Now onto the more personal part of this post. Last night, while I was out walking with Lady, I heard something meowing behind me. I turned around and found a tiny, orange kitten standing right at my feet. I continued on my mile-long walk, and for some reason, he followed me the whole way. When I reached my driveway, he sat down on top of my foot. I moved him off and he climbed back on. I know cats can’t talk, but I had the weirdest feeling that he was telling me I wasn’t going anywhere without him.

And how am I supposed to say no to a face like that?
I’ve had him for less than twenty-four hours and I’m absolutely in love with him. It seems like I have a little competition though. He and Lady are getting along really well (which is weird, because Lady hates cats).

Sorry for the awful quality of the pictures, these were taken on my iPhone. I’ll have much better photos of him sometime in the near future! In the meantime, help me name him. Right now I’m calling him Kyo, which is a character from one of my favorite manga series, but for some reason I want to call him Kavu. I also really like Simba. My poor, confused kitty.

I hope you’re having a good day!
I love you,
Lo
